Ecomondo, the 3rd largest European exhibition in the field of green circular economy, will be held on 8-11 November 2016 at Rimini Expo Centre, in Italy. There are expected 1.200 large companies exhibiting their products and processes, more than 103.000 delegates from 85 different countries and 130 conferences and workshops.
The programme includes a BBI JU & Horizon 2020 panel, about 'Opportunities for jobs and growth in the Mediterranean region', organised by the BBI JU, the European Commission, the Italian Green Chemistry Cluster and the University of Bologna. This panel will provide information about how the bio-based sector is creating opportunities for a local sustainable development, rural and costal area regeneration, new jobs and opportunities for local companies, universities, research centers, etc. The conference aims at identifying common challenges and opportunities for the Bioeconomy and the bio-based industries in the Mediterranean Region and analysing the R&I potential offered by Horizon 2020 and the BBI JU.
